BBCode is a markup language that can be used to format forum posts. It is used instead of html because html can deform the structure of page and can be insecure.

Here’s how to do some basic stuff with BBCode*

Make Text Bold

… [b]Make Text Bold[/b]

Make Text Italic

… [i]Make Text Italic[/i]

Add a Link

… [url=http://patrick.ward21.tumblr.com]Add a Link[url]

• Make a list
• A list item
• Another list item

… [list] [*]Make a list [*]A list item [*]Another list item [/list]

code / monospace text
